Changes in your Davis Vision coverage as of November 1st

Dear Valued Patients,

Effective November 1, 2024, we will no longer be participating with Davis Vision insurance. We remain committed to your eye health and will continue to provide care for patients. If we are providers with your medical insurance, and you have a medical diagnosis (e.g., Dry Eye, Cataract, Glaucoma, Diabetes, Allergy, Pink Eye etc…) we can use your medical insurance.

Medical insurance often does not cover the cost of testing for an eyeglass prescription (refraction). This service currently incurs an additional fee of $45 on top of the exam cost.

We also want to remind our Federal Employees currently enrolled in Davis Vision that open enrollment will start in November. During this period, you will have the option to choose a different vision insurance plan. Please note that we will remain in-network with VSP and Eyemed.

Your patient records are always accessible via your online portal. We will provide instructions on our website to assist you in accessing the portal. If you require a new link to the portal, please contact our office, and we will be happy to assist you.
